This little painting was an experiment in varnishing a watercolour with acrylic varnish. Spray fixative whihc is usually used to seal pastels kept the watercolour from smearing when I applied the varnish. I did not keep on with this method, which means you can frame a watercolour without glass, becaused of the fumes.
This painting turned up when I was clearing out storage prior to moving and I decided to share it with you.
