Well, this is a shock, isn't it; quite different from anything else I have done. It is a banner designed by me, and painted with the help of members of the congregation, for the church I attend in Halifax. The banner symbolizes our 2008 theme of "Crossing the River."
This is a year
when we made big decisions and forged a new covenant to take us into a
brighter future. It will be replaced at the will of the congregation. I was not going to include
this on my website. Then I started thinking that in terms of time it was
the equivalent of three or four major paintings!
