In this watercolour, I cut the edge of the water and rocks and slid the chart behind. So the chart covers a sky on the watercolour paper. To have the sky go right across the chart, I had to paint another sky on the chart before I collaged it. I was amazed at how the clouds matched up because I did not sketch them before I painted them. I just made tick marks on the side of the chart for major colour changes.
