"Rain at Times Heavy" is a common
phrase in both the marine and inland weather forecasts
in Nova Scotia. We seem to experience it quite often on our boat, especially on the
Eastern Shore, which is the portion of chart I used here. The course is one we followed
from the Bras d'Or lakes in Cape Breton to Halifax.
The lattice of nylon lines follows the "Loran" electronic navigation lines
printed on the chart. |
